Terms and Conditions
Quotations are estimates given on the basis the facts given are correct. Quotations are subject to change, should the details not be complete, or the requirements are not as described.
Our service is a one man "Kerbside" service. The driver is likely to provide further assistance, though is not duty bound to do so. He will not be responsible for placing any item into your home, though he may assist if requested out of goodwill. Any damage to any item in this instance, will not be covered by our Insurance, as the goods are no longer in transit. In addition to yourself, we recommend you have a strong hand on delivery to ensure the item is safely placed into your home.
Quotations given are on the basis of one man, with one van, and assistance will need to be provided to the driver. We can supply an additional person, though this will not be included in the original quotation if not advised before so.
Extra payment of £8 required if travelling through the congestion charge.
Parking must be arranged and is the responsibility of the customer. Any parking fines must be paid by the customer to the Driver on completion of the job
All payments must be completed upon delivery, either by cash or company cheques, or by credit or debit card over the phone. VAT receipt will be provided by post only.
Job arrival times are estimated. Although we do our best to be on time, circumstances out of our control may cause delays
We accept no responsibility for loss or damage to property after job is complete and paymentis received. We accept no responsibility for damaged caused during loading, or whilst unloading onto any premises.
All prices are subject to vat.
Providing parking is the responsibility of the customer, and any fines received are to be paid by the customer on completion.
Congestion & Toll Charges
There will be an extra charge of £8 when passing through the London Congestion Charge Zone, other congestion charge zones and tolls will be charged accordingly. (Unless otherwise stated)
Payments are to be made by credit or debit card, cash, cheque or bank transfer.
We will do our best to arrive within the time scale stated, however arrival times are estimated.
Delays to pick-up/delivery times are sometimes unavoidable (due to traffic accidents, weather etc).
We do not accept any responsibility for any customer loses due to unforeseen or out of our control delivery/pick-up delays.
Changes in item numbers
You may incur extra charges if the actual amount of items on the day exceeds the amount of items that were included in your quote, a couple of boxes more would not normally cause an issue, however if you have under-estimated your items, additional charges may occur within reason.
We reserve the right to add extra costs due to unforeseen circumstances (eg.: waiting for keys or gaining entry, incorrect addresses, removal of windows and so on).
We accept no responsibility for damage or breakage to items that have not been packed / protected by adequate means. We can also accept no responsibility loading or unloading into your destination. This will be covered by your own insurance. Our drivers will not carry goods up or down stairs, as the insurance will not allow this.
Cancellation and Postponement
Cancellation of services after goods are collected, will result in a 50% redelivery charge. Goods undeliverable will be charged at 50% in addition per delivery.
Verbal or threatening behaviour will not be tolerated. Our drivers will not be threatened or verbally abused in any circumstances. Should this occur, the driver will leave the site immediately, and any monies paid will be non-refundable.
